Bwindi is a home to roughly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. The sight of expressive brown eyes of these gentle giants is the most exciting poignant wildlife encounter that Africa has to offer. The park boasts of 90 mammal species, including 11 primate species and the prominent black and white colobus monkeys. The 321 sq km park is located in the southwest Uganda.
