Queen Elizabeth National Park

This national park boasts of one of the highest bio-diversity ratings of any game park in the world.it is inhabited by about 100mammal species and an incredible 612 bird species with elephants, lions, hippos, the elusive giant forest hog and handsome Uganda Kob often sighted along the roads and around the tourist village on the Mweya peninsula. Elsewhere, however, the remote Ishasha sector with in the park is famed for its tree-climbing lions, chimps, forest monkeys and birds. The park covers an expense of 1,978sq km in Bushenyi and Kasese districts in the southwestern part of the country.
